Try on Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit english version

Not able to run the program.
Maybe it's cause the following error:
(At end of installation - Try to run after that and don't work)
---------------------

Self-Registration Error

The following files did not self-register of unregister:

1.C:\Windows\SysWOW64\actskn43.ocx

Hello DonaldDuck

Thanks for your feedback.
During installation did you get "SplitCam installed successfully" window with Finish button? Can you see SplitCam program in Add or remove programs list?
What happens when you try to run SplitCam? Does SplitCam process appears in task manager?

I was able to install splitcam, also get the blue screen....but when splitcam starts it shows the MFC modelling link in the small box where my video is supposed to appear and in the big white area where the MFC ad is, there is nothing. When I choose to open an avi video it does not appear. Please advise.

hi there, i also want to thank you for your great product and that it's free AND well supported.

i am using windows 7 ultimate x64 and had the same issues with installing the non beta versions, so i downloaded the latest beta (6) and win managed to install it (with the message that it was unable to register... seems a bit confusing if you tried the previous versions and the same error led to a cracked install) and finally it worked. i've tested all new features, everything works fine. while testing i've read all the comments posted in this thread and found out that i got the bluescreen too.

Exclamation details:

if you shutdown/restart after closing splitcam, the bluescreen appears
if you shutdown/restart while running splitcam, the bluescreen does not appear
if you did not start splitcam in the actual session, the bluescreen does not appear

as i can't change anything in your code i decided to look for the driver that may cause the problem and found out that
Arrow if you disable the splitcam driver before shutting down/restarting, there will be no problem

Idea this may be a little dirty i know but until there is no better solution i would suggest you to disable the driver generally, enable it when splitcam-program is firing up and disable it again after splitcam was closed

hope i could help a little, thanks for the attention, i would be happy to get emailed when a change in this is made

yours, joph

Sorry. I do not really understand you. I suggest click Options->Advertisment->Exchange ad and video windows. It should help you.

In the new SplitCam version we are planning to make fixed ad window without exchange.

Thanks - that worked and now the ad is in the big window and the video should go into the small window.

When I try to load the video I press play and it doesnt play, do I need to do something? It's an AVI video. I can load images with no problem. Please help.

@SPLITCAM SUPPORT

Any chance for new version with HD resolution support? I have brand new Logitech C910 and would like to use it in 2 or 3 apps at the same time Smile
