Hello
Thx for your feedback. To find out what's wrong I need video file you can't run. Please send me it to e-mail (if the file is not too large) or upload it to some file archive and provide me with the link.

|
|
Hello, and thanks for this awesome software.
I'm writing in regard of the memory dumps caused by BSODs due to IRQL not less or equal generated when using SplitCam 5.206 Beta.
My system summary is:
Hardware: Lenovo Thinkpad T60: RAM 2GiB, HDD: 80GB
Camera: Microsoft LifeCam NX-6000
Sound: SoundMAX Integrated Digital Audio
Operating System: Windows 7 Ultimate x64
SplitCam 5.2604 Beta installed OK, with a warning on the .ocx registration, but the SDK seemed to run it fine. It installed the driver, it seemed to be working correctly. It could be executed without problems with one client at a time (call it Yahoo, or Windows Live), although I haven't tested it yet simultaneously. The only catch I've found so far is that after using the laptop, when the shut down process begins, it ends up with a BSOD, rebooting the machine.
The memory dumps and the hardware screenshot are attached to an e-mailed zip.
Thank you.

Hi!
I sent this on 2010 july 20:
C:\WINDOWS\Minidump folder to you because with Win 7 64bit i got blue screen crash in the end of my shutting down the operation system.
I made a photo from the blue screen and sent it to your mail with the minidump files.
When will be done this problem? When will come another newer version?
(i used the beta version)
Thanks. _________________ Dave |

Hello Daxvid
I received your mail with dumps and photo. We are working on it.
Additional question: do you have blue screen only when shut down windows or during SplitCam work too?
Sorry I can’t say for sure when we’ll fix it. We have limited developers recourses. _________________ SplitCam Support

I actually didnt see a blue screen,it just refused to shut down...I use the Win7 64bit. I dont know what else to do. And also i'd like to ask if www.splitcamera.com is same site as www.splitcam.biz....I think latter is a hoax site though ! |

tony so you can't shut down your PC after SplitCam running?
Can you shut down it if you do not run SplitCam?
Can you close SplitCam window before you trying shut down? Does SplitCam closes normally? Can you shut down after SplitCam closing?
Or you try shut down during SplitCam is running?
splitcam.biz is our site too, however it's different from splitcamera.com
splitcam.biz it's some kind of a mirror. _________________ SplitCam Support

Please provide us with more info about your PC, Windows version and exact error messages and after what actions you received error message.
Thx for your reply. |
Your post was in March, so maybe this has been fixed... But, I *just* downloaded this and I'm having the actskn43.ocx error.
I'll try and attach a screen capture, but the text of the error message is:
| Code: | The following files did not self-register or unregister:
1. C:\Windows\SysWOW64\actskn43.ocx
An event was unable to invoke any of the subscribers
To continue, click OK; otherwise, click Cancel. |
I am a developer, so if you need me to help you debug this, I'd be happy to.

Hello mmoo9154
The problem was fixed, reopened and refixed several times.
Now in majority of cases the window does not appear. We could not completely remove this window appearing. If the window appears click OK button. SplitCam should work properly after this. _________________ SplitCam Support
