Have you tried it with USER ACCOUNT CONTROL (UAC) disabled? You'll have to reboot once change is done though?

I haven't had no problems at all shutting down my system.

This is just a suggestion. I think it would be nice if there was a RED RECORDING indicator light on the live video, or something to indicate that's in recording mode somewhere on the splitcam interface. The only thing that I notice, when it's recording is when I see the small REC button has a yellow or orange RING around it when it's pressed.

I think something a bit more VISUAL indication would be a better and nicer option Wink

Hi

Here is a Tip - You might want to take note of this, when using splitcam BETA 5.4.1.3 - If you want to save whatever selected movie file, or active loaded effects, Or if you have multiple webcam's and driver's you want to stream with in Splitcam to your friends or on your networking website. Just run whatever you want then go to the top Left (File) > (Exit) to exit splitcam. Then when you restart splitcam it will use your last USED changes, will still be there when you come back to splitcam.

Remember you have to EXIT the program for the changes to work!

Enjoy Wink

If you also have the splitcamera icon minimised providing you have it to run at system boot up of Windows, on your taskbar or (system bar some might call it). You can RIGHT-CLICK on it, to exit splitcamera in a fewer number of mouse clicks. Rolling Eyes

Still getting a Bluescreen for this version.

My OS: Windows 7 x64

Not sure if this will help as I'm not too proficient with WinDbg

From Minidump:
BugCheck A, {18, 2, 0, fffff80002a6886c}

Probably caused by : STREAM.SYS ( STREAM!StreamClassPower+502 )

Cheers Smile

Hi again, the new splitcam is fantastic but I still get the blue screen while shutting down. I miss the zoom feature when clicking on the screen, it was very useful while showing photos. Great Job and thanks!

My OS: Windows 7 x64

From Minidump:

-----------------------------------------------------

Same here for me, and also when program when closed from systemtray after 20 minutes or so... Shocked
Same betaversion, same win7-64, same problem, WHQ- or latest Nvidia- drivers.
I trust you will eventually find this little bugger..Smile

Another point: the webcam produces 640x480, Splitcam shows 640x480, picture going to the webcam-site has much lower-res.
And it doesn't matter what res or framerate i choose, always the same low-res output.

Regards, Fred

Some users have reported that they've had problems with Blue Screen Of Death (BSOD) on their sytem!

For those of you that have had similar (BSOD) shut-down problem please give as much information as possible when you post. When using the current BETA v5.4.1.3 of splitcam.

Choose what versions of Windows OS you use XP,Vista,Win7 ... 32-bit or 64-bit?

WinXP 32-bit <- (No problem)
Vista 32-bit <- (No problem)
Win7 32-bit <- (No problem)
WinXP 64-bit <- (I haven't tested yet)
Vista 64-bit <- (Currently affected by BSOD shut-down problem)
Win7 64-bit <- (Currently affected by BSOD shut-dwon problem)

It's only a BETA test version that was made available for users to test out, and report their issues with it. The word BETA - meaning it will have a few bug problems with it. It's not the final release version. So don't be asking me when that will be ready. Well I can honestly say, I don't know !!! Wink

Hi, first of all many thanks for your software...

I have a problem with splitcam 5.4.2.6 beta (since my OS is windows 7 64 bit) and Windows Live Messenger 2011 (latest version) In fact, using the configuration wizard audio / video I can select splitcam as capture device, and I also see the files that are running, but when I start the videocall the WLM does not allow me to select splitcam as video device. You believe that the problem is caused by the messenger or by the splitcam? However, it seems solved the problem of blue screen at shutdown.
Thank you for your attention.
I hope in an answer
