| After installing SliptCamera over Windows XP it doesn't work with my Skype/Sony DV camcorder using my Firewire interface. It shows a blank(black) screen after choosing the SplitCamera within Skype. |

I was using the one I just downloaded from the site on April 4 2010. Anyway, the problem has been fixed after installing the beta version you mentioned.

I think you should check version of split camera. Some split camera does not support in other operating system. So you have to install newer version of that. It is available easily because it is a free ware software.

I think some files are needed on your os. But it could not found it so it is not worked. Otherwise you have to uninstall it and then again install it. I think it will work and you should check compatibility with your os.
